Villa Necchi Campiglio 1932-1935 Architekt: Piero Portaluppi Via Mozart 14, Mailand, Italien Photos Daniela Christmann, 2024 Die Villa wurde zwischen 1932 und 1935 von dem Mailänder Architekten Piero Portaluppi für die Unternehmerfamilie Nedda und Gigina Necchi und Angelo Campiglio erbaut. Abgesehen von einigen Teilen der Innenausstattung ist sie sowohl innen als auch außen vollständig erhalten. In den 1950er Jahren wurde das Innere von Tomaso Buzzi renoviert und das ursprüngliche Design verändert. Als Gigina, die letzte Überlebende des Bewohnertrios, 2001 starb, vermachte sie das Anwesen dem Fondo Ambiente Italiano (FAI), einer Stiftung, die sich dem Schutz des nationalen historischen Erbes widmet. Nach langwierigen Restaurierungsarbeiten, bei denen unter anderem versucht wurde, das Gebäude in einen Zustand zu versetzen, der dem von Portaluppi geplanten möglichst nahe kommt, wurde es der Öffentlichkeit zugänglich gemacht. The villa was built between 1932 and 1935 by the Milanese architect Piero Portaluppi for the entrepreneurial family Nedda and Gigina Necchi and Angelo Campiglio. Except for some parts of the interior, it has been completely preserved both inside and out. In the 50’s the interior was renovated by Tomaso Buzzi and the original design was modified. When Gigina, the last survivor of the trio of inhabitants, died in 2001, she bequeathed the property to the Fondo Ambiente Italiano (FAI), a foundation dedicated to the protection of the national historical heritage. After a long period of restoration, in which the aim was to restore the building to a state as close as possible to that intended by Portaluppi, it was opened to the public.
